Howdy everybody!
I’m cheating today. Just writing something to satisfy the days of Blogmas. Today was chill, but still purposeful.
I just applied to an entrepreneurship fellowship. I feel pretty confident about it. Honestly, like I said yesterday, everything is happening better than I could have ever imagined.
Back in March or so, I wrote out my perfect life’s script. And I’m getting closer to that version of reality.
Entrepreneurship is something I have been working towards for five years or so. In 2020, I launched a Shopify e-commerce site, Hvn on Erth Boutique. It wasn’t successful, but it helped me learn the basics of business.
Maybe I could use the rest of these Blogmas posts as a daily check-in for The Mommy Mogul Consulting. I don’t know if you knew, but I’m currently building a multi-industry empire, named Happy Homes Holdings. Each business model I have a personal relationship too. My goal is to create 10 multi-million dollar businesses over the next 5-10 years.
Right now, I’m currently in Phase 1: Foundation, which includes my low-investment businesses.
Life With Lexis Kai – The Brand
This business already exists and has been in existence since I started writing this blog. It’s since expanding into Life With Lexis Kai Podcast and Live Life Lavish University. My goal of this brand/business concept is just to document my life’s progression. I have a dream if this could turn into a reality TV show, because my life is so interesting but I cannot be recording all the time. Need a camera crew, for real.
The Mommy Mogul Consulting
This business is currently being built!! Shout out to my marketing guy, Jason, my first and fav client Jaqueena, and my administrative assistant, ChatGPTeesha. No but seriously, this business concept came from me working at that nonprofit last year. I realized that the information being given through the program needed to be shared with entrepreneurs at every stage. So I decided to create a business surrounding economic development education – combining two passions.
Heaven on Earth Home Services
This business is a rebrand from Heaven on Earth Cleaning Co, my residential cleaning business I had in Houston. The main reason for the rebrand is that I want to expand outside just cleaning and included laundry wash and fold, grocery pickup, and meal plan prep services. All in all this business model is designed for the modern mother, balancing career and parenthood in a new landscape.
Building businesses is so fun to me. I enjoy being a boss, like this is what I like to do. I look forward to making more money, but also sharing more knowledge and resources with my community.
