Hola mi familia!
You know I took Spanish every year of high school and still can’t conjugate verbs past tense. But you didn’t come here for my academic history, welcome to day 6 of Blogmas.
It’s starting to become fun showing up here everyday. To describe my current writing setup: I’m laying in bed, using a pink bed desk, getting my feet rubbed, with a pink pair of glasses. Next to me is a glass of champagne and a tropical passionfruit flavoredBodyArmor (sponsor me lol). Maybe next I can get a glass of lemon water next.
To you this may seem like a fantasy. Yesterday I was attempting at writing fiction. But this is my reality I just wrote out. “Everyday is Christmas waking up. Like everyday is your birthday.” I really feel in an exuberant energy.

What have these 31 days of Blogmas turned into? Writing freely, no really format or structure. I could be using these to tell you about this event I’m planning in Jacksonville, FL next February. Or maybe about the first cohort of my Live Life Lavish University coming in April.
But I don’t want to sell you anything right now. I just want to show up as myself and sees what comes out.
Let me tell you about my Saturday.
My granddad Jerome was in town to visit us and take the children Christmas shopping. This morning I woke up and Papa was making the family breakfast – home fries, turkey sausage links, and eggs. We ate breakfast together, while my granddad yapped away. But he didn’t eat breakfast with us, he preferred his “ten cent breakfast” provided by his lodging accommodations. Cool.
After putting the address to the nearest mall in his GPS, I went upstairs to doomscroll in the bed. You know how that goes. I look at the time, it’s a little after 12:30. I knew I wanted to go to my local thrift store and browse so I rushed out the house before they closed at 2. It was still another 10-15 minutes before I actually left out. No biggie.
I found some of the cutest pieces and can’t wait to go back next week for more. Specifically an olive green ankle length trench coat styled with a patterned scarf. I’ve already imagined what bag and boot I want with the jacket, it’s a pretty much bought item.
Then it came time to work. I had a Triple H call with T at 1:30. We stayed on about an hour and a half talking about that event I was telling you about. It’s always powerful talking with T. You know she was my pilot student for Live Life Lavish University? Here’s what she thought about it:
Live Life Lavish University was pure alignment and transformed my life in ways I never expected. As the very first tester, it helped me understand myself, set confident boundaries, and step into my purpose with faith. If it could shift me , change my mindset and make realize I can live the life I want before it was even fully built, I only imagine what it can do for others now.
I’m ending my day with you all. I’m figuring out it’s not because I wait to the last minute, more like this is a part of my nighttime routine.
Until next time,
Cousin Lex
